Career Opportunities

Taylor/Brooks Salon & Spa finds education for our stylist very important. We strive to have our stylist feel confident in themselves and their skills. Taylor/Brooks Salon & Spa educates our staff in two areas:

1. All new stylists at Taylor/Brooks Salon & Spa will be placed into our New Stylist Training program. The new stylist will work closely with one of our established stylist as their associate. As an associate the new stylist will watch and learn new techniques, practice techniques on both mannequins and models, help mentor service guests, and learn customer service skills as well. When the new stylist has completed the program they will begin working on their own. Our program will give new stylists more confidence and assist them in gaining success quickly.

2. The beauty industry changes frequently. In order to keep up with the challenge of the changes we hold classes in our salon a few times a year. These classes will educate about new trends, styles, technology, and products. We provide classes taught by Redken or Pureology artist each year.
